Greenland

In September of 2004 Tony Acampora, Jamie Green and Adam Kissick formed Greenland. They practiced regularly and quickly developed a number of songs. From December 2004 to February 2005 the band recorded a 5 song ep/demo at Actiondale Studios in Annandale, VA. They have been playing shows in Washington, D.C. and Virginia since its completion. They went to college together where they collaborated in various groups and projects. Adam's pre-Greenland projects include a 12 hour noise recital which allowed him to complete a BA in music in Spring 04. He ran live sound professionally for four years and has a passion for home recording. Tony's spent much of his life in Europe, including a stint in Italy where he made his living covering American oldies in bars and cafes. He's been playing guitar and writing songs for about 12 years. Jamie, sharing a similar interest in songcraft, has devoted many hours to the self-made recording of quirky pop songs. He loves to write. Adam plays drums; Tony plays bass; Jamie plays guitar. Both Jamie and Tony sing. They're all in their mid twenties.
