Green Light Situation is an acoustic funk-rock trio hailing from the sunnier, slopes of the Olympic Mountains. Their music is a blend of a walk in the woods, a dry martini, and a handful of pipin’ hot chilis. The band is comprised of singer/songwriter and rhythm guitarist, Jake “Teach” Reichner, along with “Concrete” Scott Bradley on lead guitar and bass, and Matt “Take Out” Forshaw on drums and percussion. As a three-piece acoustic assembly, these guys throw down some fine, aerodynamic grooves. Situation’s influences range from Dave Matthews, to Rush, to Paddy Doyle’s Boots, and their style is comfortable and unique, blending riffs, staccato syncopation, and introspective or off-beat lyrics with an obvious jam mentality.
