Biography

Originally from Lille, France, 27 years old Regis Israel, aka GreenShape, with his soft voice and ghostly folk pop songs speak of lost love and troubled family history.
One could almost feel like driving a Cadillac in a film by Wim Wenders and hear "Pound after pound", and sometimes the sound of the sixties folk haunting in the green form.

Since 2003 GreenShape has travelled through the scenes of the north in various projects, but the folk guitar he found from the closet of his grandmother, and the stepfather’s Simon & Garfunkel vinyls always returned to his memory. He worships Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake and the Beatles.

Freshly signed to the label Sober & Gentle (Hey Hey My My, Cocoon, Kid Bombardos), Green Shape, as following a career of an amateur boxer delivers compositions that tears your heart without a pain. It will bring all our most poignant memories to the surface with a desire to reapply again.

Producing the debut album with Mark Daumail, singer-songwriter of Cocoon, will promise us an experience of rare intensity.

Pound After Pound

Pound After Pound

Don’t stay on my hill
Don’t stay on my ground
Don’t wait on my hill
Am not so blind
Just because of the flamme
So, we won’t cross the fame
Pound after pound
I built a house
Do you understand
For what you can’t stand
Just because of the flamme

Sally's House

Sally's House

In Chloé’s house it is full of brightness
Her coffee’s how you can’t find anywhere else
I don’t want to go down
I don’t want to stay down
Before ‘re back in shape
Think of you before I
As if you where my bride
Enough to make you smile
For a long time

In Sally’s eyes it is full of darkness
Her story’s how you can’t find anywhere else
I don’t want to go down
I don’t want to stay down
Before you’re back in shape
Think of you before I
As if you where my bride
Enough to make you smile
For a long time

La La La

La La La

Dig out your keys and got back later
Wait on your kisses to feel better
I could not here that she got a lover
I could not hear since he speaks louder
She got so bright eyes that I’d never
Have to make it cry with anger
Head on your knees as if you’re a mother
Is all I need to feel better
Lalala…
When I wake in the morning
There’s no cigarets since I stopped it
Lonelyness is some kind of madness
Am gonna take my time and go taste
Lalala…

Storyteller

You’ve changed your mind so many times
That you should be mine
i see me in your eyes
there’s a hive in my heart
there’s a heart in the jar
there’s a jar in the well
there’s a well in your land
the storyteller told me never be the main character
tell it’s easy to call words
