Green Whiskey puts strong emphasis on song-writing, overall sound, and genuine heartfelt live performances. Small town Texas born and bred, Green Whiskey is the combination of Jake Waylon, Ryan Davenport, and Steve Lehman whose influences range from The Band, Robert Earl Keen, Hayes Carl, Johnny Cash to Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones. It’s straight ahead, rootsy Americana.
Green Whiskey’s debut album, Triple Shot High, pairs the band with producer Mark Addison of The Aerie Studio in Austin, TX. Each song on the album is a story that came the hard way, through real life experiences. Heartache, humor, barrooms, sheriffs, and life on the road pour from the album like an audio diary.
Home is in the music, the rest is just the dream.
