Bio
Two brothers, two guitars, four musicians and one rockin' blues show that will have you talking for months!
Even if brothers Joé (pronounced Joey) and Kim are separated by nearly 8 years, they share a common passion to translate their music on stage and create an electrifying live blues performance.
After seeing rock and blues guitar legend Steve Hill on stage, Joé, then 16 years old, picks up a guitar to never put it down. Eight years later, Greenwood is born with musical influences such as Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and of course Steve Hill. Barely out of elementary school, Kim starts playing classical guitar at 12 years old, which he enjoys somewhat. However, soon after his 14th birthday he receives his first electric guitar, this time finding his true passion. Influenced by notably Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Toronto's musical prodigy: Philip Sayce, he soon finds his own game and sound.
It's under the watchful eye of his father, that Luc Jr Belisle, starts playing the drums at 4 years old. 23 years later, his experience and feeling are to be envied and his contribution to the band's sound is undeniable!
With his higher musical training and 15 years of experience, bassist Sébastien H.-B. brings maturity to the band's sound. Having played on stages around the world, his stage experience and passionate playfulness contributes to the uniqueness of the band's live performances.
At the very beginning of 2010, the band entered the studio to record in a single week their whole debut album: "Green Money", which came out in stores May 26th! It was quite anticipated on the Quebec Blues scene.
