Goodbye Michele

Written By: Greg Field

Goodbye Michele © 1992 Greg Field

Tell me what it is you do to me, my Michele
Fire burning brighter through me now my Michele

Everywhere I go all I see is my Michele
All that I can do is dream of my Michele

Tell me what you wanna do with me now my Michele
Teasing me the way you do, why do you my Michele

All I wanna do is be with my Michele
All I really have is a dream of my Michele

Didn’t wanna hear the news, it was goodbye Michele
Would you really go without saying goodbye Michele

Everywhere I go all I see is my Michele
All that I can do is dream of my Michele

Ah, Goodbye Michele (X2)

Now the Summer’s gone and you’ll be leaving too Michele
Wrote another song for you to hear now my Michele

Everywhere I go all I see is my Michele
All that I can do is dream of my Michele

Ah, Goodbye Michele (X2)

Lonely winter coming soon and you’ll be gone Michele
Nightime into day the days will be so long Michele
Didn’t wanna hear the news it was goodbye Michele
Would you really go without saying goodbye Michele

All I wanna do is be with my Michele
All I really have is a dream of my Michele
Everywhere I go all I see is my Michele
All that I can do is dream of my Michele

Ah, Goodbye Michele (X2)

Gypsy Heart

Written By: Greg Field

Gypsy Heart © 1992 GM Field

Something about her was quietly surrounded in mystery
Her eyes were alive, she was smiling
When she looked at me

I knew I’d found her when I heard the sound of her gypsy heart
Desparately pounding while the night was surrounding
Two strangers in the dark

Under the street light she danced to the beat of her gypsy heart
So softly pounding I found just how warm
Was her gypsy heart, oh my gypsy girl I love you

To those who have dreams, if you only believe,
I say dreams can be
Believing is all that you need to set yourself free

I knew I’d found her when I heard the sound of her gypsy heart
Desparately pounding while the night was surrounding
Two strangers in the dark

Under the street light we danced to the beat of her gypsy heart
I knew I might lose her but I couldn’t refuse her gypsy heart
Oh my gypsy girl I love you

The Night Still Forgives

Written By: Greg Field

It all comes back to me
So Clearly Now,
And dearly how,
We chose how it would be
We tore it down
Before we found
The key,

(Chorus)

Oh the guilty and the innocent
Whether wrong or right
May lose the fight
But losers and winners end up
Remembering
So remember, The Night Still Forgives
The Night will Forgive
We still have to live

I saw you yesterday
How our worlds had changed
Yet we were still
The same in Many Ways
And it thrills me just
To hear your voice again

Oh, (Chorus)

Now the years have come to pass
I think of you
And always knew
The tears would never last
And now I see
That Faith has set you free

(chorus)

Your Star Will Always Shine

Written By: Greg Field

Oh there’s a place up in the sky
And there your star will always shine
The light was always in your eyes

Remember this is not goodbye
Though we’ve left it all behind
Your star will always shine

There your star will always shine
You know your star will always shine
There’s always something to remind
Of all the dreams we left behind
Those memories somewhere we will find

Remember this is not goodbye,
There’s a place up in the sky
Where your star will always shine

Where your star will always shine
You know your star will always shine
remember this is not goodbye
There’ll be a place you’ll always find

Remember this is not goodbye
Though we’ve left it all behind
You know your star will always shine

And here your star will always shine
(and here your star will always shine)
There’s always something to remind
Of all the tears we left behind
And here you know you’ll always find

Remember this is not goodbye
There’s a place up in the sky
Where your star will always shine
