"A Great Opening Act" , "Spiritualy Powerful and Uplifting"

First Fruits is Greg Havens' debut LP inspired by the Holy Bible and his love for contemporary Christian music. Before becoming a born again Christian, Greg spent 32 years developing himself as a musician, but any true inspriation or direction he may have gotten without the Holy Spriit led him nowhere. Almost immediately after he gave his life to Christ, Greg was given an opportunity to serve as a part time worship leader in a small non-denomination church in Modesto, CA. Through deep studying of the Bible and a few personal trials Greg was soon given ten songs that Glorify Jesus Christ.

The first song he wrote, Letters to Seven Churches, talks about our Christian walk with the Lord and how it should be done. Next, Greg was given an opportunity to perform as the opening act for the Strings of Hope Tour at Three Rivers Christian Fellowship. He was given two songs to perform and brought down the house with his "Wedding Feast" song which is about the rapture of the chruch and what Christians are called to do while we are watching and waiting. A few months later, during a men's bible study, Greg was inspired by the apostle Paul's words from Galtians 5:22 to write, Fruit of the Spirit. Since then Greg has continued to write and record spirtually affirming songs that always refer to the living Bible.

Today, Greg has 10 songs that are being recorded from his home studio and he hopes to tour this summer and bring his music and message anywhere and everywhere he is given the opportunity to share.

The central focus of the tour will be to bring as much attention to the spreading of the the good news of Jesus Christ to those who have never heard his name. 100 % of all CD sales will go to Gospel for Asia, a christian organization that raises up native missionaries, in asia, who preach the Gospel to the to the poorest and least of all people throughout the world.
