"****4 Star Review"

"On his solo debut, local mainstay Greg Poulos (The Venturas) assembles a who's-who of Tampa Bay for an accomplished, superbly performed blues record. Damon Fowler, Dan Toler, Patrick Bettison, T.C. Carr and former bandmate Jennifer Leigh join Poulos on a dozen well-chosen covers and original tracks...Ably backed by drummer Dave Reinhardt and bassist Rob McDowell, Poulos is a first-rate guitarist, his musicianship never more apparent than on the lovely, thoughtful title track."**** - Creative Loafing June 25, 2008

"ANGELS FROM HAZARD cd Review"

"When you have a guy of Greg Poulos' talent playing in your own backyard, you tend to take him for granted. He excels at Blues (he DID play with Freddie King), cooks at Surf music, and can do the Jazz thing too. Now he's gone and produced a fine CD called ANGELS FROM HAZARD. ALthough he's enlisted a who's-who of musical talent to add their gifts to this project, the music (and the original music in particular) is what ANGELS FROM HAZARD is about."
