Whether reliving sweet memories or bidding a bitter farewell, the saddest love songs are universal, sharing emotions to which we can all relate. And the best (or worst?) of them are those we can't quite make it through without shedding a few tears. Greg adds "I try to write songs that most anyone can relate to at one time or another. If you give it a decent listen I think it can bring you simple gifts."

""Provo is all Americana""

"Sentimental, perhaps, honest, but almost approaching defiant. Easy songs from foot stompin romps to mellow pickin ballads. One of the most listenable CDs out there. Part folkrock, bluegrass, folk, but all Americana" - CD Baby

""Wonderful stories beautifully performed.""

“Provo is a salesman based in New Jersey. Maybe that’s how he comes by his stories for this guy, a singing storyteller in the tradition of Tom T. Hall really knows how to spin a tale. Sitting back listening to Provo’s easy on the ear vocals, backed by astute use of dobro, mandolin, fiddle and banjo, ‘Change in Direction’ is a personal experience, sharing a walk on the ‘Streets of Cicero’, staring at ‘Italian Night skies’, and listening to ‘Grand Ma’s Words’. Wonderful stories beautifully performed. Can’t resist pushing the repeat button for ‘Drinker’s Lament’.” - Pete Smith, Country Music Round up, Great Britain.
