Greg Williams

From Dive-bars & Honly Tonks to the grandest of Festival Stages across Ontario, Greg Williams has managed to cover quite a lot of ground in the past couple years. Born & Raised in Dorchester, Ontario, he began his musical journey at the age of 7 deciding to pick up the fiddle and the rest as they say is history - in fact Greg still considers this to be the greatest decision he has ever made. Fast-forward 20 years, Greg is now an up-and-coming country rocker with a few awards under his belt including 2010’s Most Entertaining Fiddler of the Year Award at the Canadian Open Fiddling Competitions in Shelburne, Ontario, and was named winner of The Next Country Music Star Competition in 2017 in association with the Havelock Jamboree which landed him on stage back-to-back years at the festival (the second year closing out for Toby Keith in front of 15,000 people). Williams has had the opportunity to perform with numerous artists including George Canyon, Confederate Railroad, the Hunter Brothers and the Reklaws, as well as open for a number of artists including Doc Walker, The Wilkinsons, and more. His debut EP Release ‘The Mistakes I’ve Made” is set to release to 36 Streaming services worldwide in January 2020, although he has been selling it physically on CD and Vinyl as a thank you to those who come see him live, after all, it’s all about the fans. His second single “Bottom of the Bottle” is also set to hit radio come January 1st, 2020, following up his successful debut single “Livin’ To Die” which he released in June and was co-written with Mike Little (Black Mountain Whiskey Rebellion, George Canyon, Charlie Major) and Clayton Bellamy (The Road Hammers).
