Live Lunch Break Flashback - Greta Stroebel
Published April 03. 2015 12:01AM

One of the perhaps bonus aspects of The Day's "Live Lunch Break" concert series is the wealth of precociously talented younger artists who have appeared on the program. Case in point? Thursday's episode starred East Lyme High School student/singer-songwriter Greta Stroebel. Performing in New London's Telegraph Records Shop, Stroebel showcased several catchy and literate pop tunes including several from her "Society Road" EP. She also discussed her work — including the inspiration of Paul Simon, the blessings of melody, and why it would be cool to have a band. As always, we archive all of our "Live Lunch Break" shows at theday.com — plus you can subscribe to "Live Lunch Break" podcasts at iTunes. - The Day
