Greta first became known for her work with Canadian producer Deadmau5, when "Raise Your Weapon" was nominated for ‘Best Dance Record’ of Grammy Awards in 2011 and hit the 100 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. And subsequent releases with others including The Bloody Beetroots on albums "Hide"(2013) and "The Great Electronic Swindle"(2017). Even in the Classical world via Ludovico Einaudi, with the divine "Circles" (Decca) perfectly showcase Greta’s chameleon colours. A diversity that has collectively seen her exceed 150 million streams, displaying a unique breadth of talent and reach.
The Faroese singer, songwriter and producer sets the tone for future releases with catchy riffs and strong hooks in title track of her latest EP “Bones”. All My Bones went through a quarter of a million streams in the first week, exploring darker electronic territories, creating the perfect world for her trademark honeyed vocals to inhabit. Greta paints a sound and visual of life in the Faroe Islands, a striking and ethereal aesthetic. Writing and Producing her music, documenting her remote world with stunning infrared photography. She captures both a sense of beautiful space and dark isolation in her art.
