Lyrics

We're America

Written By: Greta Pope (also known as Greta Pope Wimp)

We are different, we're all colors, we are red, white and blue
We have weathered the challenges of a land that was new
We're emerging victorious, a new day is in view
We're America

We've come from all places with our arms open wide
reaching out for the future, we have nothing to hide
All across this nation, we're standing side by side, oh
We're America

Through our journey many tears have been cried
We look to our heroes and to those who have died (freedom)
They fight for our freedom and rights (for freedom), which can't be denied
We're America

(Guitar Solo)

We're standing together, all races and creeds
We won't be content 'til the whole world is free, yeah
We're building the future, yeah, yeah you and me
We're America

We'll build the future, yeah you and me
We're America
