Biography

Gretchen Troop, the singer and leader of the band has worked in New York City and San Francisco as a singer for 16 years total before moving to Boulder, Colorado in 2003. She is strongly influenced by neo-soul, funk, blues, hip-hop, R&B, old school soul and jazz. She sang the blues in NYC, acid-jazz and funk in San Francisco and has mixed them all together to make the Gretchen Troop Band.
