Greystone is comprised of four seasoned musicians, each dedicated to their respective craft, forging a classic blues / rock sound that's all their own. This Durham Ontario based quartet offers dynamic high enegry performances each time they play.

Biography

Greystone has been part of the Southern Ontario music scene for the past six years. Originally, the mark I lineup was founded to play for the occasional corporate function, all concerend were pretty content with that arrangment, then enter guitarsit Daryl Turner Rak in 2003 and Greystone mark II was born. The band discovered it's bluesier side and with the assistance of Gary Morris from Crew Cut Entertainmant, the gigs started to roll in. Enter Laurence Fontaine and Ernie Pegutter in 2005, to complete the metamorphosis of Greystone mark III. This lineup has achieved local success, playing at all of the major clubs in the Durham Region. Their fan base has continued to grow with each performance. The live shows featuring the twin lead guitars of Daryl and Laurence have to be heard to be believed. So check out the website for their next perfromance and give your ears a treat. Sets range from 45 - 60 minutes in length, featuring original material, as well as cover tunes by such artsist as BB King, Stevie Ray Vaugh, ZZ Top, Eric Clapton and the Rolling Stones, to name a few.
