Grey Street is a concept defined by Dave Matthews himself. "All the colors mix together", a lyric in his song "Grey Street", is a perfect description of this DMB cover band. Because of these five musicians, Dave's music has become an eruption in the Bayou State and beyond.
The diversity of Dave Matthews Band parallels the melting pot of Louisiana's people, music, and culture. Grey Street Band is no exception. Distant African rhythms, New Orleans Jazz, and American Rock can be heard in their distinct style. The music is what speaks for them and has been the driving force since their inception in February of 2001.
