Grinch

Milton Ross Stokes, AKA Grinch, was born in Norfolk, Virginia on March 21, 1983. He is the son of Noble Stokes and Avis Brown and the youngest of 6 siblings. Grinch was reared in a Christian home with a tightly knit family who love God. He was an honor student and excelled in sports as well as academics. At an early age, he played soccer, baseball, and, football. However, during his middle school years he excelled in basketball. He went on to be a star player in middle and high school earning many accolades. He received a scholarship in 2002 to Napa Valley College in Napa Valley, California. Unfortunately, a car accident just before his freshman year prohibited him from completing his scholarship qualifications. He was always taught that education was very important because anything could deter his basketball dreams. He continued to take courses at Tidewater Community College.

Grinch however, had another passion, music. He has been writing songs since he was in elementary school. He had so many boxes of notebooks filled with many writing gems before anyone knew about this passion. He then went on to befriend many others who felt the same. He has worked with others, and he has worked alone. The important thing is that he has persevered and has not given up.

Today, with the support and love of his family, he strives to be successful in the music industry. He has worked very hard, and now he has another reason to work even harder. His family and daughter, Paishence, who is 13 months old, are the driving forces now behind his every move.

He has released several CDs and has been a featured artist on several radio stations. He has entertained fans up and down the east coast and he has also played the NorVa Theater in Norfolk, VA.

He presently works as a supervisor for Mid-Atlantic Building Services, and is currently as always working on new music.
