Klarke Castellanos (Born in Massillon, Ohio United States), hails from Norfolk, Virginia better known by his stage name Grip H is an American hip hop artist. His musical influences include Jay-Z, Lupe Fiasco, Andre 3000, D’Angelo, Prince, and Greg Castellanos. Currently aligned with his team of Sophisticated Savages G.R.I.P. SQUAD Music. He flirted with music during his summers away from junior college in AZ and Troy University in AL with his childhood friends and cousins. After the birth of his son he Joined the U.S Army and shifted his focus towards music and in 2007 he teamed up with Know: Juander, to release his first mixtape as a Hip Hop Duo titled 9PM, they followed that up with their second release in as many years 48hrs (which was actually written, recorded and released in 47hrs) as a member of the group he’s had the privalege to share the stage with numerous mainstream and underground hip hop acts new and legends alike E-40, Drake, Ray Cash, Little Brother to name a few. This followed with their last EP release in 2009, titled 2 Weeks Notice. While working on his third project with The Perfect Median, he released his first solo LP titled Almost an Album. He returned from his second trip to Iraq in 3 years and has since released his latest LP A.D.H.D (All Day Heavy Drinking) on which his penchant for being a free spirit and alcohol induced music shines bright. As well as the studio album Black Baldwins: Blacklisted and Blackballed as a member of the Hawaii Hip Hop collective the Black Baldwins. Released the 3rd studio album Just Klarke LP in May of 2013
