Grizzly Adams Family

Chris Mosley was born and raised in Austin, TX and began playing guitar and writing songs at age 11.  Developing a strong interest in jazz, at 17 he attended Berklee College of Music in Boston for two years, studying with some of the top names in guitar performance.  He then moved across country to Portland, OR, where he released three records of mostly instrumental music and made his living playing jazz and restaurant gigs.

In 2009, Mosley moved back to Austin to reconnect with his songwriting tendencies and formed the Grizzly Adams Family, currently a quartet that plays a unique and captivating type of Indie Americana.  The blend of sounds that surround the songwriting stems from rock, folk, jazz, and soul influences.

In the end of 2013 the Griz Fam released their debut ep Grizzly Adams Family and the Drunkalong Singalogue.
