The Groove Disciples are a all night Rock, Funk, Blues groove band, playing cover crowd favorites, and danceable funky tight originals that will make you sweat the sorrow and blues right out of your very core. These four tight knit musicians have honed their skills and cut their teeth with many national and local bands and projects, that make them some of Portland’s finest musicians. Playing in Groups Such as Rustic Overtones, Esperanza, Sabretooth Nudist, Bottle Rocket Kings, The Piners, El Grande, Phish collaborator Gordon Stone Band, as well as RCA recording Artist Ray Lamontagne.
Collectivley they have toured all over the world, played clubs, festivals,colleges,ski resorts to weddings and private parties. They have played with artists ranging from the Allman Brothers Band to J.Giels Band to Willie Nelson, and everything in between.
