In the late 90's Justin Richter (band organizer) developed a new found love for electronic and breakbeat based music. Inspired by groups like Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method and French progressive icons like Daft Punk he started to experiment with musical composition. Starting out with song demos here and there he began to spin his own material. In 2006 Justin met Dennis Barron (synths and visuals) both in their junior year of high school that shared the same musical passion and identical progressive flow as one and other. In early 2009 they formed and created GrooveJockeys.
