Groove Major was born December 7, 1988. The New Jersey born MC, whom through his passion and drive to succeed in the music industry has found himself transplanted to Orlando, Florida. Raised in Paterson and Montclair, NJ by his Mother in a single-family home, Groove began singing as a child, his passion for singing later turned him on to writing his own music. Influenced by artists like Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G The Lox, Ryan Leslie, The Roots, etc. Groove began getting into Hip Hop and building his chops as an MC. After High School he took his passion for music to Full Sail University where he received his degree in Recording Arts. While at Full Sail and in Orlando, Groove has steadily been making a name for himself with the local Hip Hop scene, working with other artists like Coco Peila, Will Adams, Palmer Reed and The Sweet Jones Family Band. When asked what set’s him apart from other MC’s his response was that he wants to do every type of song in every genre. “I have no limits, I’m trying to do it all, why put a limit on what you Love?
