The Groove Train Riders are an original Funk- Blues- Rock Jam Band from Levittown, Pennsylvania. GTR consists of John M. Davis on guitar and vocals, Joshua Hart on rhythm guitar and background vocals, Jeff Suta on bass and background vocals, Robbie O on drums, and
Vince Perrillo on keys.
GTR has arranged over 25 original songs so far. Our music is indicative of our vast influences ranging from the classic sounds of The Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers and Stevie Ray Vaughn to the more contemporary sounds of Dave Mathews and The Red Hot Chili peppers. Their music incorporates tight, steady rythms relished with intricate guitar melodies and multi-part vocal harmonies.
The Groove Train Riders are commited to their music. Their goal at each show is to produce fun, danceable music- accompanied by lights and energetic performances for visual effect-for a sound and feel that can be enjoyed by a wide variety of people that spans all age groups. To this end, GTR seeks to take their music as far and wide as they can possibly go.
