In December 2001, Jason Grant replied to an ad that was placed by Nate Donnis and Eric Terry in search of a keyboard player. In January 2002 Group W had begun and the search was on for a bassist and drummer. In February 2001 Dave Teta answered the ad and auditioned. He was a perfect match. In March, long time friend Imran Abbasi made his way in playing bass. So by March of 2002 the final line-up of Group W was complete.
Group W mixes all types of music including funk, rock, jazz, and hip-hop to perform music like no other. The music, mixed with their high energy live shows and sneakers, make them a band worth while.
