We recorded two original songs written by two of the singers, Matias Mercado "tito" and Luis Mercado. They were recorded in AQ-30 recording studio in Bayamon, Puerto Rico with the top musicians in the business such as Luis Aquino in the tumpets, and Hector Herrera in the congas among others. They are being played in latin stations around the PA area such as 91.3 fm Lancaster and 91.3 fm Reading, and other stations in Puerto Rico.

Grupo Afinque, formed on September 2, 2006, is a latin band created by Luis Mercado. The group performs various styles of latin music such as merengue, salsa, bachata, cumbia, baladas, and reggaeton. With vibrating music, exciting choreographies, and excellent vocals, Grupo Afinque amazes the public everytime they perform.
The singers, David Gonzalez, Matias Mercado and Luis Mercado are from Guayama, Puerto Rico residing in Lancaster, PA while Anaddy Toribio is from the Dominican Republic residing in Reading, PA. Each one of them possess, in average, 10 years of experience in the music business. They have dedicated themselves to improve their singing and dancing skills to create the perfect show. They love to involve the crowd in every part of the show.
The musicians in this band are all experienced musicians. The percussion, bass, and piano are of puerto Rican decent. The brass session is american. They have been playing latin music for an average of ten years.
It is our desire to share our talents with the world and provide entertainment for everyone to enjoy. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to play in your club or activity; furthermore, we promise to put forth 100% effort so that you and your guests are completely satisfied with our show.
