Gsmooth Has Us Catching Feelings too.

The song tugs at the heart, but course such should be expected from a tune called "Still Catching Feelings." True, Valentines Day is around the corner, but this recently released single from the BVI’s very own Glenroy Charles requires no special day or time to fall in love with.

Charles, a recording artist, and Saxophonist/clarinetist goes by the artiste name of Gsmooth, and is clearly on the path to great things.

In an interview with BVI Hotpress, Gsmooth disclosed that he composed the song using an array of different woodwind instruments: “I played with passion and expressed myself in the track. Played from my heart, you should not just hear, but also feel this music. Feel the groove, feel the tension, feel the release, listen as the sax sings, screams and cries. I love music and I'm very passionate about it,” he told us.

Now that the artiste has met his aim, and has those who heard the track also catching feelings, he mentioned that he intends to do it again: “I am currently composing and recording some other songs, I will be releasing a full album this year. This full release is scheduled for March.”

This charismatic young saxophonist was featured in the November Issue of the "Entrigue Magazine" as a promising new Musician,” and chances are if you tune into a smooth jazz radio station you will hear this track at some point.

It was with great pride that he announced that a company contacted him and informed that they bought the track and is using it for their Company Soundtrack. Gsmooth is also being recruited for a Jazz fest in San Diego California.

He shared that he was offered a distribution contract to compose songs for a music company in the UK, but haven't signed on to a label as yet: “I have decided to stay independent for the time being,” he said.

The artiste also recently did a collaboration with a Japanese Producer and Smooth Jazz pianist that is not yet released. He also collaborated with some local bands in their upcoming albums.
