G.S.P.

Ghetto Sounds Productions was founded, officially, in1998 by Clent Gilbert. Ghetto Sounds Productions, G.S.P., has been around since 1985 doing all of its own recordings and beat making. G.S.P. has progressed from a two track-recording studio to a full digital recording studio. G.S.P. is based out of Gary, Indiana giving a chance to local artists to show their talents. As of today G.S.P. has nine local artists, mainly rap and R&B with the addition of an alternative/rock singer. Ghetto Sounds Productions has been hosting shows on a regular basis at local bars and clubs. We have hosted shows at Hoops Sports Bar and Lounge in Portage IN, this was a two weekend event; Rosie’s in East Chicago, IN, here we have held approximately five shows; Main Event in Portage IN, this was one of our bigger shows all thirteen of our artists performed at this show. We performed a show at Sunset Lounge in Portage IN; we had our six artists and another local recording studio performing. The artists have also performed a show in Illinois at “What’s Up”.
