The future has arrived and its name is GT Garza. At only 22 years of age, the Houston-bred artist is set to unleash his powerful sound onto the world. Known for his inspirational and heart felt lyrics, GT Garza drops Maverick Music 2: THE GARZA EFFECT on his own imprint, The Machine. After conquering the battle circuit, Maverick Music 2: THE GARZA EFFECT is GT's first release with all original music. The record boasts a wide variety of material ranging from pain to glory and serves as a wake up call to all artists and the music industry as a whole.
Maverick Music 2: THE GARZA EFFECT gives listeners a view into everyday problems and situations while also setting goals to reach and learning to live life without limits. From people being drawn in by a common surname to people drawn to his charisma, THE GARZA EFFECT is felt by everyone differently. GT Garza's mission is laid out in his bars. GT Garza has come a long way in a short time. His growth from Maverick Music to Maverick Music 2: THE GARZA EFFECT is clearly distinct. GT's ascent to stardom was fueled by victories at Sunkist SunLab two summers in a row. On the "Road to the Apollo" in Harlem, N.Y. GT Garza emerged victorious and stopped through Dallas to win the Elements Battle on his way home.
Realizing the power of his words and ability of capturing a crowd, GT Garza converted anxious patrons into fans while opening for Bone Thugs N Harmony and Pitbull. Busta Rhymes calls him "Leader of the New School." Original SWAT Product means he performs with Rob G. frequently.
A major epidemic is spreading. It is believed to have started in Houston, Texas and is called Maverick Music 2: THE GARZA EFFECT. Symptoms include, but are not limited to, rushes of adrenaline, jamming repeatedly, and uncontrollable urges to get open. The carrier of this nasty epidemic is GT Garza. Through over 50 mixtape features just in the past year, numerous hit records in rotation, like "Just Chill" on mainstream and satellite radio, GT Garza has built an undeniable buzz with his versatile sound.

Hailing from a city that has produced some of music’s brightest talent, G.T. Garza is fast gaining a name for himself as Houston’s upcoming Hip Hop star. He has propelled his solo career through dedication, hard work, and an undying passion for his lyrical craft. Garza has performed in countless shows across Texas and rap battled his way to victory in the “Road to the Apollo” challenge sponsored by FootAction USA and Adidas. He has also appeared on numerous radio shows and his song entitled, “Just Chill” was featured in “The Sunkist Sound Lab” sponsored by Sunkist.
