Bio
Maya and Jay Klein are a married couple who started writing songs together in the wilds of upper Manhattan in 2006. In the spring of 2011 Guess and Check fully formed with Shayna Lewis (also of Train Wreck) on bass and Sami A. (also of So Li'l) on drums. We are currently based in Brooklyn planning to put the indie rock game in a choke hold.
Our influences include Joni Mitchell, Brian Wilson/Beach Boys, Pavement, The New Pornographers, and Guided by Voices.
