Bio

The band stems from a true punk-rock past. Sick of the standard boring dish served up by locals around it's home base the Guild has branched out to become a multi-headed space beast. A love of psychedelia, electro, surf instrumental and progressive rock fused with the more tenacious musical onslaught off their hardcore and industrial rock pasts the more musical spirit brought forthe the birth formation of the Guild Navigators in 1996. Envision blasting off to other nebulous worlds where merging melodic folk songs with punchy, hard driving rock songs occasional alien electronica weaves in and out of traffic on this Jetsons meets Doctor Who on the Forbiden Planet of the Vampires. The Guild Navigators understand the importance of keeping a fist to the air and the boots stomping the floor in old school punk style but with updated B-Sci Fi style ala old school experimental somewhere between Hawkwind and Dick Dale on dirt weed and cheap beers. The idea for the Guild was conceived in the early 90's by the remnants of Industrial act Gouge and heavy hitting speed punkers My White Bread Mom. The original concept was very space rock influenced, and that influence is still heard in the music but now is expanded upon. Many line up changes took place through the years till finally a break was needed, though the break was short due to Spacely finding it's current working line up.
