Gully Davis was born and raised on the mean streets of Brooklyn in the heart of East New York, where only the strong survive. Gully began rapping at the young sup
> ple age of eleven.
> On May 8, 1999 a tragic turn of events occurred when he was involved in an accident in Staten Island which left young Gully in a coma, it took a lot of strength, but he managed to bounce back. More enthusiastic and more focused, he began to take rap more seriously. In 2003-04 he wrote his first track which was “Doing My Job” with his team “Blockhuggaz”. Later, with the help of Asiah Lewis he started ghost writing for known artists, and besides recording in the cutting room he also worked for Bad Boy Entertainment, that was only until he decided to become an artist himself.

With no turning back he continues to move forward with only success on his mind. Gully has received huge praises for his tracks like, “Stakes Are High, “Brooklyn Live”, and “Brothers Keeper”, which is a track dedicated to his brother, comedian Rasheed Thurmond who passed away in 2007. Gully is also in the midst of finishing up his latest mixtape “Stakes Are High”. He is also doing a lot of great things with Deejays from France, Germany, Italy and the U.S.A., as well as many new projects with his management Shanequa Garcia,Tru Fam Management, also with his producer, one of the greats, Producer ‘718’. In Gully’s words “The stakes are high all the chips are on the table”, so with that said, Gully is on the rise…
