Bio
Formed in their home town of Bristol, GuMM consists of Arthur Jay Brown (guitar, vocals) and the sibling rhythm section of Jordan (drums) & Lily Cook (bass, vocals).
After rehearsing and keeping in the shadows for several months, GuMM launched themselves with shows for Vice Magazine and played alongside Splashh, Wooden Shjips, Eagulls & Novella whilst gaining acclaim & attention on the blog circuit and in publications such as Artrocker, DIY and Fly magazine. They were also a Great Escape Festival band of the day.
GuMM recorded their debut single 'Lionheart' at Portishead's studio with producer TJ Allen (Bat for Lashes, Roxy Music & Portishead) and released it through Howling Owl Records in the winter of 2012.
GuMM produce droning, psychedelic pop songs with a garage ethic that packs more than a noticeable punch.
