"I Am Alive. I Am the End of the World". In December 2006, veteran Louisville rockers Johnny Goebel and Scott MacEachron packed their bags and headed south to Austin, TX armed only with a car, guitars, little cash, and the new sound for rock and roll. Refuge was sought and found. Jobs realized and friendships made, but the puzzles of Gunslinger eluded them. Through trial, effort, the internet, sleepless nights, and a crazy Texas ice storm, Gunslinger met prolific drummer Terry Woods. Instantly a musical bond was formed, and then a snowball of nuclear rock began to form. The trio began to merge and gel in ways not seen in any of their young careers, and decided to debut as a Three Piece. Gunslinger played their first show to a very responsive crowd at Austin's Dirty Dog. Gunslinger is currently in preproduction for their first release, "Gunslinger", and are currently preparing plans to tour in support for the EP in late 2007.
