Gunvor

For the Bern native Gunvor her career aspiration were clear from the beginning: She wanted to be a singer. At age 23 she won the Swiss talent competition show on Radio DRS1. Within one night, she was known and celebrated by Blick as the "World Star". What followed was performance after performance. A dream became true for the then 23-year-old when the Swiss voted for Gunvor to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest with her own composition "Lass ihn" in 1998. She describes the three minutes on stage with an audience of millions as the most beautiful performance in her life.
When asking the sporty Bernese about the second passion in her life after signing - tap dancing - a smile appears on her face. At 13, Gunvor started with the American style of dancing. Two years later she won the Swiss championship - in the category of grown-ups. A total of seven times she was Swiss tap dance champion. She even won the fifth place at the world championship.

1998 to 1999 she took on two big tours with the Swiss Nokia Musical Night held in various cities in Switzerland. Followed by several appearances with the Winter Circus on Conelli Bauschänzli in Zurich. For six months she played 2003/2004 in the musical "Hair" the role of Crissy. Whether in the Musical Theater Basel, at the BEA Bern Expo or at the Maag Event Hall, this tour was one of Gunvor of the best experiences in her life - thanks to the fabulous crew.
