Since the age of 7, he began to pursue his only passion: music. In a country like Colombia, this really was a salvation, because those who do not fall in the nets musical, fell in other networks.
Accepts influences of sounds as diverse as the Visconti, the tangos Gardel, Led Zeppelin, music arrabelera, Metallica, Diomedes Diaz, Silvio Rodriguez, Jimmy Hendrix, Eminem, Vicente Fernandez, Soda Stereo and Seru Giran. He had six professors guitar, his father and his five brothers who taught him so early, that politics does not remember when he learned to rasgarla.
Soon, he founded his own band, la derecha, where he was the singer and guitarist. The group endured eight years and five albums, which came after the dissolution.
"I come from a school musical based on the Colombian and Latin American folklore, but things of life, from the age of 14 I started to hear much rock and other stuff ... has to do with folklore and with the wave of Led Zeppelin and rock in general ... goes through all these sides but is not in any established ... "
