Gustavo Rodriguez Band

Native Texan, Gustavo Rodriguez, started his music career in Austin, TX. Gustavostarted his own band called, “Los Locos,” early years in Austin and eventuallywent self titled after 2001. Gustavo is available as a working musician,singer, and songwriter.  Throughout Texas, performances as a solo act incude: Melizzo’s Tacos in Austin, as a duet at Pier99 in Corpus Christi, and as a trio in Fredericksburg, and as a quartet at Coopers BBQ in downtown Austin.  In addition to solo acts, he also performs with his full eight piece band (with Austin’s finest horns) as the Gustavo Rodriguez Band (http://facebook.com/GustavoRodriguezBand).

Gustavo is prepared for any setting, event, festival, public and or private functions
indoor or outdoor.  He’s even prepared
for little to no amplification.  He’s ensemble
is sure to have you either singing along or toe tapping to his original
hits.  Gustavo is currently available for
three hours of original music and three hours of "Cover music"
(listed below) in which we can mix and match within a 3-4 hour period.

For years Gustavo has performed at many local venues and restaurants throughout the
Austin area.  To name a few, Herberts
Taco Hut New Braunfels, Cultures in downtown Fredericksburg, various wineries
on “Wine road 290” in Fredericksburg, El Agave Bar in San Antonio,  Baby Acapulco’s in Austin.  Festivals include:  Bob Marley Festival, Spade Nuder Festival
2002, Eyors Festival 2002, Santanorama, Pecan street festival, and more
recently Taos Fiestas 2018 in Taos, New Mexico.
