A high energy band that displays great musicianship. GUTA has been touring and gathering fans all over the country since '98. Their live performances include positive original song lyrics and a groovable sound that makes you want to get up and dance and leaves you craving for more.

Biography

GUTA.
Formed in 1998 on the coast of North Carolina
and have since been working hard crafting their sound from the ground up.
Teddy Sablon's prolific song writing, unique voice, and stellar guitar work add an edge that set's this band apart from others. Their style has been influenced by Steely Dan,The Grateful Dead,The Band,Stevie Wonder,Van Morison, Sublime,ect.
Their first album Rhythm Central received great reviews from Billboard magazine. GUTA's amazing live performances helped build a fan base that got them listed in Relix magazine (Aug.05) as the #1 best kept secret on the indy circuit.
That year also saw them play at the famous CBGB'S in New York City, Galaxy Theater Santa Anna California,The Norva in Norfolk VA,The Visaualite Theater in Charlotte North Carolina,The State Theater in Fairfax VA, and The Lions Den in NYC, they also went on to play at the Disc Makers Independent Music World Series held in Nashville TN, in the fall of '07.
The band under went some changes from trio to four piece with the addition of a mandolin/ guitar player Warren Ditezel (River of Rust, Dedicated Maniacs) and added World class bass player Dave Gesualdo (Mountain of Venus). The band now lives in Fayetteville Arkansas where they are working on a new album and blowing the doors off venues all over.
