G William Boyd

G William Boyd is an American rock singer and musician from Dallas, Texas.  Inspired by great bands like Metallica, Guns N' Roses, and Led Zeppelin, G has a powerful, guitar driven musical style that is passionately reflected in his high energy live performances. 

G William Boyd released his debut E.P. "Different", in February 2013. Described as an alternative rock style, G's original music showcases masterful guitar playing and a distinctive vocal style. The E.P. also earned G the Artists in Music Awards 2014 Best Rock Artist nomination in Hollywood, CA. 

 In August 2013, G was selected by the prestigious  Musicians Institute as their Mayhem Independent Artist Scholarship winner where he recently graduated with a Certificate in Performance, Guitar.  In October 2013, at age 19, he was honored to be selected to play on the Main Stage at the State Fair of Texas, the largest state fair in the nation. Also, in October 2013, G was happy to be chosen to play for the Malibu Music Awards and Festival in Malibu, CA. 

 G is proud to make a positive difference in the world as a member  of Tunes for Tots by performing in events benefitting children's charities around the country.  Additionally, he has made appearances for our service men and women including NFOTUSA military radio and the annual Carry the Load walk.

 Having completed his studies at Musicians Institute, G is back in Texas  writing new material for his next album and planning a dynamic stage production for his upcoming music tour.  Rock is an ever-changing genre, and the bands we remember, are the trend-setters, the ones who throw out tradition in favor of a new form of expression.
