Meet GYPSY HEART(Rock & Soul).......The band formerly known as Bait & Switch!

Bait & Switch has been a well known band amidst the live music scene around Charlotte, rockin’ crowds of all sizes and types. The group has recently undergone a metamorphosis. What started out as a strictly cover band has now grown into a tightly woven group of musicians creating powerful rock music and lyrics never before heard. This has added new depth to the chemistry between them contributing to an ever poweful live stage show. The raw talent and energy each of them bring individually is compounded one hundred fold as they combine as one and take the stage. This group has a yearning to give the crowd what they desire……whether it be songs that bring everybody to the dance floor and keep them rockin' until they turn the lights up or songs that drift through the atmosphere of the venue with a depth that inspires and connects their audience to one another.

Front girl, Cindy Kay, is originally from Detroit and displays the groove and soul the city is known for. She began performing at the age of 5. Cindy contributes powerful lead vocals coming from a sexy young lady who knows how to rock the crowd with her electrifying stage presence. She trained as a professional dancer before pursuing her vocal talent and she's got the moves to prove.

Providing the backbone to the music is Steve Riedel on drums. A graduate of the Berkley School Of Music in Boston, Steve brings a rock solid foundation to the group, accented with a groove that will make you move!

Magnifying the funkability of the group is Jeff Isley on bass guitar. Jeff's been playing in the Charlotte area for 20 years. His stage energy goes unmatched and he packs a punch of groove into every bass note he hits.

Scottie Jordan, on lead guitar and vocals, tops off the group’s vocals with yet another layer of harmony. He has a playing style unlike any other. His adaptability to play it smooth or give it that edge, coupled with his smokin’ guitar riffs, set him miles apart from the rest.
