With his acoustic guitar, jazzy scatting vocals and trucker-hat sincerity, Ryan DeMont is one Indy singer who's only crime is cruel and unusual cuteness, the kind of cuteness barrage that forces bystanders to hide under coffeehouse tables as lines like "I'm the wizard of oooh's and aaah's and fa-la-la's" go whizzing by..." - Inspire Magazine

Gripping vocals, shredding lyrics and a strangely optimistic melancholy are the heart and soul of Ryan DeMonts
debut effort, Life Rolls On.
A percussive, acoustic rock album capable of leaving emo fans shaking, punkers with their jaws on the floor, housewives quivering, and alterna-kids feeling hip; Life Rolls On is as pure and emotional as it gets.
With light layers of instrumentation fronted by DeMonts trademark tenderness and sophisticated lyricism, Life Rolls On, combine the pop poignancy of James Blunt with the lyrical vibe of Jason Mraz; all the while crafting an album that appeals to indie, folk, country and pop fans alike.
Ryan was born and raised in Truckee California. His father, a prominent pianist, and his mother a vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter, Ryan grew up listening to, and playing music. After 6 years of piano lessons his parents let him find his own voice, and years later, he began to play on his own. At 18 he picked up the guitar and soon there after began writing his own music. After High school he moved south to San Diego and eventually ended up in Venice California, where he resides today.
