H.U.R.T

Kid Rick, Jon Von and Sinned Franklin hails from down south in Baton Rouge, LA. They are brothers who are artists who formed the rap group H.U.R.T (High Underground Risk Takers) where they seek to take over the music industry with their entertaining song concepts, engaging hooks and juxtaposition of rapping styles. 

JORRICK TURNER (born JANUARY 16, 1991), better known by his stage name KiD RicK, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he is also a member of a group called H.U.R.T, he is just finishing up his first project which is titled (LOST IN FLIGHT). The inspiration of the tape stems from the breakup of his ex-girlfriend. His first single "Take my Soul" is a tribute to his best friend after the death of his father

Kid Rick father was in and out of prison through out his childhood which left a big hole in his life he then started to write raps about how the absence of his father affected his life. Growing up in the harsh streets of southside Baton Rouge, he started to experiment with drugs to "escape from reality" around his teenage years which triggered seizures leaving him unsure about his life and his purpose of living. Years later, he eventually gotten right with Christ and soon enough the young artist decided to drop out of college and pursue his music career again this is which he discovered his new style and sound. His music can be described as an ambient and dark trap vibe. It is heavily inspired by the Weeknd, Drake, etc.

Jonathan Vaughn (born November 22nd,1991) better known as Jon Von is a young rapper/songwriter from Baton Rouge Louisiana. He is a member of the group H.U.R.T. which also consists of KiD RicK and Sinned Franklin. The three are lifelong friends who all shared a love for music. Jon's musical influences include Kid Cudi, Curren$y,Tupac, and Tech n9ne. He is currently working on his latest project, titled Ghost files. Before he began to rap, Jon wrote poetry to express himself. Around the age of 13 He began to tap into his creativity which led to his poems becoming raps.Jon grew up amongst various music genres thanks to his immediate family. He enjoys skateboarding but hates skates!  Jon had a pretty decent childhood but still had to deal with his parent's constant fighting leading to their divorce when he was 12. Sadly Jon lost his father in 2012. This changed his life for better and worse.

Dennis Franklin (born November 26, 1991) also known as Sinned Franklin is a young songwriter hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dennis is a mild mannered individual who has always had an ear for different types of music. He always been particularly fond of rap and jazz in which he used to stay inside his room for hours writing lyrics towards the instrumentation. His musical influences are Nat King Cole, Earth Wind & Fire, Ghostface Killa and Jay-Z. In the group H.U.R.T he helps come up with the concepts, writing and occasionally provide raunchy raps. Sinned always wanted to become a true artist and let others know his story.
