Big H aka H.

Big-H aka H., was born in Queens, New York but raised in Charlotte, NC aka “The Queen City”. As he made clear in his 2009 Mixtape “Product of the Streets “ song , Charlotte is “My City”. He began rapping for fun and hobby as a young teen along with his childhood friend Terrell “Co-Signer” James. Terrell would find beats online and “H” would rap over them while being taped on an old Panasonic recorder. They dropped their first album “The New Religion” in 1998 and passed it out to various close friends.
He polished his freestyle skills by standing in the middle of the room and rapping about various objects “Co-Signer” would point to. After teaming up with an old friend “Young Rocki” of Drumlordz Productions, who was also trying to get into the growing rap society in Charlotte, they felt they had a strong team. Co-Signer, H., Rocki and the Drumlordz (Including other producers and Rapper Dutch) made a promise that they would work together to break into the industry. After doing numerous other underground albums that captured the ears of friends and acquaintances, Terrell and Big H l had a serious conversation about Where They Were, Where they should be and Where They Could Be in the rap game.

In 2009, Big-H’s first Mixtape “Product of the Streets” was born and distributed in the various cities in North Carolina, South Carolina and as far as Atlanta, Georgia. Later that same year, “Co-Signer” and “H.” decided that “H.” shouldn’t only use his skill to become an Artist, but also a “Business” therefore, in that same year, they decided to create a Record Label to call their own. “Co-Signer” explained that if they wanted to be serious businessmen, from that day on, they would need to conduct everything in a business fashion. On June 16th 2010, Flame Records, LLC was incorporated in North Carolina and Big-H was signed as the flag-ship artist. Knowing that he needed a manager and advisor he could trust, “H.” decided to make it official and signed a management contract making Terrell “Co-Signer” responsible for managing his music career.

In 2011, “H.” vowed to make a name for himself as a viable artist in The Queen City. “I want my City behind me” He says all the time. “It’s time for people to see that The Queen has talent, and I’m the King that’s going to show the industry that our artist can work hard, pump out hot material and still keep it business, brah”
