In 2010 the paths of these four women cross, and the project Habelas Hainas is born. Boasting of an ample trayectory in the world of traditional music, these women share the same musical and existencial concerns, and form a puzzle where the four elements are joined and complement each other in a personal way. Their versatility goes far beyond their being multi-instrumentalists, and impels them to explore other artistic realms such as poetry and theatre. Each concert becomes different and unique.
The starting point is Galician traditional music and roots music, as part of a long and vital tradition from which surges the natural necessity to express themselves, from a feminist and plural viewpoint. This brings them to explore other music, compose their own pieces, and experiment with tradition. This permanent concern is reflected in research and taking advantage of traditional instruments' varied possibilities, thereby creating and energetic, fresh, and original sound.
