Bio
Hagana have been together since 2006 but only in the last year or so have things started becoming serious for the band. Gigs with Foo Fighters side project Jackson United and other big local shows have built up a bit of excitement around the band in Scotland. The release of the 'Hagana EP' has seen the band played on both local and national radio and the band is just looking for that next wee break!
David the drummer's father was in a semi-successful band who were a whisker away from being massive in the UK and as a solo artist he was signed to CBS in the United States, but again things didn't go to plan. It is with this in mind that the band, and David in particular have set out to achieve their goal within the industry.
Our influences are very mixed! With different members of the band liking artists such as: The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Weezer, Van Halen, Queens of the Stone Age, BEETHOVEN, The Mars Volta, Cave In etc. etc.
Our live performances have been known to contain an element of self-depracating humour, something that seems to go down well juxtaposed with the footstomping riffs! We also have a part time 4th member who has to be seen to be believed... A trumpet/other things player who is somewhat of a local legend for his onstage antics. It's too difficult to describe him!
