Bio
Though none of its members are natives of the city, Hail Animator formed in the heart of Leeds during late 2008. The band have a penchant for mixing hyper-rhythmic, angular indie, which soars into the anthemic via some healthy doses of lyrical imagery, vocal harmony and loop pedals. The result is a grandiose type of pop music.
The quartet have so far supported the likes of Wintersleep, We Were Promised Jetpacks, People In Planes, Wolf Gang, Sound Of Guns, Doll & The Kicks & EastStrikeWest.
They also performed at this year's Live At Leeds Festival, which featured Wild Beasts, 65daysofstatic, The Bronx, Lightspeed Champion and many more.
Hail Animator released their self-produced debut EP, 'We Live In Boxes' on 5th March 2010.
