½ Bad is a music group out of the Tampa Bay area that performs anything from R&B to Rap to Pop. ½ Bad’s two current members are Alan Pinto and To$ha, who both grew up in Clearwater, Fl. The two artist met in 2011 and immediately bonded through music. From 2008-2012 To$ha was with the group known as the Flyboyz and Alan was a local independent singer. To$ha then split up with the Flyboyz in 2012 and teamed up with Alan, forming the group ½ Bad. The two received great success and admiration from fans and other artists in the Tampa Bay Area. Their first single together titled, ‘Move It Over Here’, was well received by the public and proved to be a true club banger. However, The group is most known for their three hit singles; Light One Up, She Ready, and Pronto. Together, Alan and To$ha have a unique style and limitless potential as they continue their music careers.

Alan Pinto, began piano lessons at the age of 6. From a very young age his parents noticed a natural his aptness and fortitude towards music. He received his first bass guitar when he was 11 years old, and took lessons until he was 13. When he was 13 he received his first electric guitar. Alan taught himself to play guitar and it became his superior instrument. His passion for music and his god given talents created an unstoppable dream. He formed his first Punk Rock band in 2007, at the age of 14, called “AR-15” where Alan played Bass guitar and led the band as the singer and songwriter. The group went their separate ways in 2009. In 2010 Alan decided to create a Youtube page in which he would record himself playing and singing covers of popular songs in front of a webcam. The second he posted his first video onto Facebook he was instantly recognized by his peers as a young talent with a chance to go far in the music industry. He joined with Dalton Martinez in 2010 to form an alternative indie group called “Forever Fly”. Alan’s previous diversity in his music adds a unique style to the group and his astute thinking creates deep, meaningful songs that connect with listeners through a behind the music story of Alan’s experiences that he hopes the listener can relate to.

Tosha, (real name Tavan Hanley) grew up in Clearwater, FL and attended Mitchell High School in Trinity, FL. Although To$ha had aspirations to one day play in the NFL because of his quick speed and agility, To$ha learned that music was his true calling after seeing a great fan response to his music. In 2008 he started rapping with a few other local rappers under the name Flyboyz and fell in love with the creativity of writing and the thrill of performing. With his Cali swag, catchy lyrics, and fresh dance moves, Tosha adds an irreplaceable touch to any performance.

½ Bad’s first official studio single is expected to be released in January 2014.
