Bio
Higgins and O'Connor began writing together in 2002 and in the summer of 2003 released the CD "LifeChimes". A couple of the songs from that early collaboration received some airplay with CBC Radio in Atlantic Canada. Another song "Roses To The Sea" (Revisited) was used as a song clip for television advertising on several stations. They performed at select shows over the next 3 years and were fortunate enough to have shared stages with multi-instrumentalist J.P. Cormier, fiddle champion Samantha Robichaud, Canadian Folk legend Valdy as well as several other prominent artists.
The pair had known Terry Leger for many years and in Nov. 2006 they decided they would like to have Leger join them. As well as Terry's songwriting ability, they were also well aware of his talent as a versatile and tasteful guitarist. Folk music was his first influence most notably Gordon Lightfoot. Following influences grew to Blues and Rock and a wide range of guitar players such as Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, George Benson, Herb Ellis and a particular favorite Larry Carleton. Interest grew also to the joy of Spanish and classical artists.
They began writing for their debut self-titled CD which was released in July of 2007. Also appearing on the CD was original member and bassist Arn Wickens whom O'Connor had previously recorded with.
They continue to perform at select venues and enjoy stepping outside of their genre for shows to test their ability, one in particular was for a hardcore blues audience of fans of Juno winning bluesman Garrett Mason. As well as being pleased at the opportunity of opening for Mason, the result also proved positive.
The year 2008 will bring more select performances as well as collaboration for their second CD.
