Halfway Jane

Halfway Jane

BandRockPop

If you were to fuse together The Police, Counting Crows and Pearl Jam, some would say you have the collective sound of Halfway Jane. What we like to refer to as blues infused modern rock!

Biography

Since its inception in 1995 at Southern Illinois University, Halfway Jane has made a name for themselves taking a blend of blues infused modern rock to colleges and major cities throughout the midwest. After bringing their music back to Chicago in 2000, their fan base has grown at an ever increasing rate, along with their creative energies. Playing a repertoir including two cd's, they engage their crowd with scores of original songs, as well as a few classics with their unique flavor. Their cd's, self-titled, Halfway Jane, and Take Three, are composed of all originals showcasing their various Jazz, Blues and Classic Rock influences. Their electrifying live shows are not to be missed.
