My name is Danny Nugent. I am currently a business and music student here at the University of Miami, getting prepared to graduate in Spring of 2008. I have a true passion for music, and will incorporate that passion with my knowledge of business, and my current network of friends in the Los Angeles and Miami regions. I have plans to continue to manage current bands such as Halifax, and help develop them to become tremedous successes. I am looking forward to helping build the awareness of these talented people, I know they will be incredible successes in the music industry. In the future I hope to continue to find talented musicians and create a reputation as a manager who will do just about anything for my clients. I am currently on the hunt for local talent in the Miami and Southern California regions!

Halifax started while best friends Chris and Adam would write and play songs about how boring Chris' mothers house was during the day. After formally organizing a band with fellow members Adam, Eric, and Tommy the band has been busy touring around local venues in Southern California. It has not been unitil recently the band has started experiencing the limelight for their hard work and dedication to creating great music. Some of the things they can now put on their track record include: MTV's Real Worl in Austin, (where they appeared live on the show), Last Call with Carson Daly, and next to come is the anticipated 2008 New Years Concert at Club Blue in Agoura Hills, California.
Other venues where the band have appeared in concert include: The Forum, Academy 2 Rock City,The Garage, Waterfront, Zodiac, Croc Rock, The Knitting Family, The Basement, and Club at Water Street.

Under Fire

Lyrics for "Nightmare"
It's second nature for you
But its my first to make you my last one
The last one in my life
The first to make you cry
So let's drink this bottle to the very last drop
Tell me what you find at the bottom
Don't say you forgot what I need
Cause all I need is you

Tonight, tonight I send out apologies
Inside this car I'll fly over the edge
And if I try to say your name I'll just bite my tongue
It's your nightmare
Make sure to handle it well
Turn up your evil, turn down your care
It's your nightmare
Make sure to handle it well
Turn up your evil, turn down your care

Aboard this troubled ambulance
The passenger is nowhere to be found
I escaped
What will they think of me?
What will they think of me when, I lock my body in the trunk of your car?
Put all the pressure to the gas
Turn the autopilot on
Let's see if we can fly tonight

Tonight, tonight I send out apologies
Inside this car I'll fly over the edge
And if I try to say your name I'll just bite my tongue
It's your nightmare
Make sure to handle it well
Turn up your evil, turn down your care
It's your nightmare
Make sure to handle it well
Turn up your evil, turn down your care

If I'm the cure and she's the disease
Do what you will, just know what this means
If I'm the cure and she's the disease
Do what you will, just know what this means

Tonight, tonight I send out apologies
And if I try to say your name I'll just bite my tongue
It's your nightmare
Make sure to handle it well
Turn up your evil, turn down your care
It's your nightmare
Make sure to handle it well
Turn up your evil, turn down your care
