"Live @ the Drake Hotel"

Praise be the gospel of Halleluyah! That was a great set at The Drake, a soaring jam-rock exhibition, sparkling guitar-riffs, daring percussion, hip-hop vocals, and the sax adds a piercing jazz feel. Really capturing that eclectic spirit of 70's bands like Grand Funk Railroad and Sly Stone. Stirring and high-energy. Almost genre defining. Keep to your musical vision.

That was a stellar set at The Drake. A collective of seasoned musicians that charmed their way onstage, an energy-filled palate of hip-hop, jazz, funk, and rock. The atmosphere was electric. An entertaining, inspired, live-performance that bridges musical boundaries, delivered as a well-honed sound that's distinctly their own.

Bio

halleluyah, halleluYAH. not leonard cohen, god, yahweh or oh, your happy day. it's like, that 4 am after-hour spiritual intervention - a bit messy and everyone around you has a pallor in the dim light but wait, it kicked in and you have to ask: how she be shakin' like that? 'cause you'll go back to his place, early a.m., a b-side volume slider to 11, and it's the after-after party.
the bashment band comes through. who? this femcee with gold bamboos and air jordans rappin' 'bout strip joint peelin' and that one time in the detroit slammer. electro-informed percussion, random metal/punk bass jams, psych-organ ambience, a bluuues sax solo-ing over psych-organ ambience and folkloric riffs. it's too much! you might even pass out! but the beautiful garbage has a groove of its own, with or without you. next time, don't be messy.
